I have kept away from describing on this blog how we (Barrie Bramley, Keith Coats and myself) do our narrative work with organisations, primarily because it would be a long-winded effort that would stop you from reading. Instead, I'd like to direct you to Anecdote from Australia who have just released a free eBook on facilitating Anecdote Circles (I call them Story Circles). It is a wonderful resource,is free, captures many of the lessons we've learnt and will help you understand what a Story Circle is and why they are important for organisational development. Here's their explanation (which I really like):
